The Wine
‘Exploring Nero d’Avola’, a world tour devoted to the most famous Sicilian varieties of red grape, the new wines from Noto; Allemanda and Controdanza, as well as a Pinot Nero produced on Etna. Here are all of Planeta’s innovations at Vinitaly 2018.
The Olive Oil
To emphasise the ever more important role of olive oil production in the company’s activities, this year Planeta will double their input at Verona and, as well as Vinitaly, will be also present with their own stand at Sol&Agrifood.
The Hospitality
Empowered by more than twenty years’ work in preparing the approach to wine tourism in Sicily, Planeta presents their own revolution in this context, with a special collection of exclusive offers for their guests, linked to the particular characteristics of the terroirs, of the wines and the beauty of the landscape.
Planeta per l’Arte
Within the framework of their work linking art and the countryside, Planeta’s esteem for Palermo Capital of Culture 2018 is expressed in a lasting project shared with the Merz Foundation, to be shown by a special limited edition label with a work by the artist.

Trattoria degli amici
Inside the Cittadella della Gastronomia at Vinitaly, on Stand 5, and among the usual restaurants, will be the Trattoria degli Amici, which will serve wines from the ‘Wine for Life’ producers. We are there with Terebinto 2016 and Cerasuolo di Vittoria 2016.

We take part in the event planned for Tuesday, 17th April, at 4.0 pm in the Sala Salieri, a good opportunity to celebrate our friendship with the Community.
Masterclass Kerin O’Keefe
Kerin O’Keefe, Italian editor of Wine Enthusiast, will conduct a masterclass on Sicilia DOC wines during Vinitaly. The appointment is Sunday, April 15 at 11 am at the Orchidea Room – PalaExpo, Entrance A1. We will be present with our Cometa.
Movimento Turismo del Vino
We will be at the Collettivo del Movimento Turismo del Vino Stand at Pavilion 10 Stand A/2 with our Terebinto 2016.
DoctorWine
Our Terebinto 2017 will be at the Vinitaly Tasting of DoctorWine space at Pavilion 10 and it will be featured in the programme for Monday, 16th April, at 4.0 pm ‘The islands of earth and sea/Le isole di terra e di mare’ introduced by Dario Cappelloni.
Donne del vino
On Wednesday, 19th April, our Terebinto 2016 will be served at the gala dinner for the Women of Wine/Donne del Vino at the Palazzo della Gran Guardia.
Il Ristorante Goloso
Our Plumbago will be on the wine list at the Ristorante Goloso at Sol&Agrifood together with the Federazione Italiana Cuochi and AIS.
