From May 7th to May 11th Planeta is participating in the 25th edition of Sicilia En Primeur, organized by “Assovini Sicilia”
Planeta is participating in the 25th edition of Sicilia En Primeur, organized by “Assovini Sicilia,” taking place from May 7th to May 11th. This annual event, curated and itinerant, celebrates the exceptional diversity of Sicilian wines through tastings, tours, masterclasses, and conferences, involving producers and members of Assovini Sicilia alongside national and international press.
The program includes guided tours of Sicilian wineries for national and international journalists from May 7th to 9th. On May 8th, a group of 7 journalists will have the opportunity to visit the new Serra Ferdinandea winery for an exclusive tasting and lunch, followed by a visit to the Palmento Fenicio and Monte Cirami winery for a tasting of Menfi wines. The day will conclude with dinner at La Foresteria.
Activities continue on May 10th and 11th with AIS tastings, meetings with producers, and masterclasses at the Mangia’s Resort in Pollina. During the “Costa Sud/Costa Nord. Un viaggio da Siracusa a Palermo” masterclass on May 10th at 12:00 PM, Serra Ferdinandea Rosé and Planeta Didacus Chardonnay will be presented. Following that, at 2:30 PM, the “Il grande Vulcano, viaggio attorno all’Etna” masterclass will be moderated by Alessio Planeta.
On Friday, May 10th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the conference “25 anni di Assovini Sicilia Cultivating the future” will take place, followed by tastings with all the producers on Saturday, May 11th.
