For five centuries and through 17 generations, our family has been committed to navigating the paths of agricultural evolution in the complex land of Sicily, with an approach always oriented towards openness and innovation. Where the agricultural world has often been confined by outdated social customs and production practices, we have inherited, generation after generation, an instinct to change and to generate positive changes around us, in culture and among people.

Traveling through Sicily as a vast wine continent, we have founded our estates in five different territories from west to east, seeking our own interpretation through research on native grape varieties, including those long forgotten, and on the adaptability of different terroirs to also accommodate international varieties. Finally, we have built around each territory a comprehensive system of experiences encompassing hospitality, cuisine, nature, and culture.

Planeta for the community
Always engaged in social responsibility projects, we collaborate with numerous organizations at local, national, and international levels: from the creation of the Parco della Salute in Palermo with the ViviSano Association to promote healthy lifestyles, to the Dream project with the Sant’Egidio Community supporting AIDS patients in Africa, which Planeta has been a promoter and supporter of for years.
