Remember the legendary waltz in “The Leopard” movie by Luchino Visconti? Can you imagine the magic of strolling in those same rooms?
With our guests, future ambassadors of Planeta and Sicily in the world, we shared the thrill of visiting Palazzo Gangi and dine immersed in its fabulous atmosphere.

In Palermo we started this special Viaggio in Sicilia, immersing us immediately in its contradictions.

On the terrace of Villa Igiea, with its wide open view over the Mediterranean Sea, our great adventure started.

At Palazzo Gangi, with its literary suggestions, we have met the aristocratic Palermo which still holds intact its charm and is ready to unveil it.

And this morning, walking with the guide of Valentina Bruschi, curator of our art projects, we continued this discovery by looking at the Teatro Massimo and the Cathedral, Piazza Marina and Piazza Pretoria, Palazzo Steri and Quattro Canti, works by Giovan Battista and Ernesto Basile, but also hidden treasures such as the Church of the Conception at Capo.

And right at the Mercato del Capo we dived into the belly of the city, the most popular and true one. By negotiating with the fishmongers and grocerers for fish and vegetables, we prepared the next challenge: cooking the Casa Planeta dishes together!
